Tetrion Wood Hardener- For Treatment & Prevention of Wet Rot.

Strengthens wood suffering from wet rot. Helps prevent further degradation.

Tetrion Wood Hardener strengthens wood suffering from wet rot and also helps to prevent further occurrence. An application of Tetrion Wood Hardener soaks into the soft wood and then dry binds the wood’s fibres together to provide a solid base for filling. At the same time the dried Tetrion Wood Hardener forms a water-repellent surface to help protect against further wet rot.

DIRECTIONS:

1. Remove all loose and very soft wood and allow the wood to be treated to dry thoroughly. Ensure that this surface is also free from dirt, grease and oil.
2. Shake the can thoroughly before use, ensuring that the cap is tightly screwed closed.
3. Pour a small amount of liquid into a metal or ceramic dish and apply to the affected area with a paint brush. (Please note that this product evaporates quickly so it is better to use a little at a time, ensuring that the tin is firmly closed between each application). Ensure that the repair area and the immediate surrounding surface is completely saturated with Tetrion Wood Hardener.
4. Allow to penetrate and harden for at least 6 hours.
5. Clean brushes with cellulose thinners.
6. Complete the repair with a good quality filler such as Tetrion All Purpose Woodfiller, Tetrion Powerfil 2K Filler or Tetrion Professional Woodfil.
