Tetrion Stonefil is a fast setting, waterproof filler that has been developed for the repair and restoration of natural/ornamental stone and ceramics. It can be used for filling holes, cracks and joints and when used as an adhesive it provides a fast and powerful bond.

SUITABLE SURFACES: Marble, Onyx, Quartz, China, Ceramic, Brickwork, Terrazzo, Granite, Slate, Limestone, Concrete, Sandstone etc.

DIRECTION FOR USE AS A FILLER: Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free from oil, grease and loose materials. Mix 100 parts of filler with 5 parts of hardener paste (approximately one golf ball sized amount of filler to a 10cm ribbon of hardener). Mix thoroughly to dispense the hardener, making sure not to mix more than can be used in a few minutes. Apply the mixed paste to the repair. Once the paste has set, the filler can be sanded if required.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE AS AN ADHESIVE: Prepare the surface and mix the paste and hardener as described in “Use as a Filler”. Once mixed apply the paste to one of the surfaces to be fixed and press the other to it. When fixing cladding or tiles to walls or floors ensure that the substrate is firm, rigid, clean and dry. Apply the mixed adhesive to the wall or floor surface in small areas at a time and firmly press the cladding or tiles onto the adhesive.

Note: The adhesive should be used in conjunction with appropriate reinforcement such as steel dowel rods (or other fixings as appropriate) where the substrate is to be subjected to weight bearing loads.

After Use: Clean tools with cellulose thinners before the paste has set.

Colour Matching: Tetrion Stonefil can be overpainted with a suitable household paint or tinted with iron oxide pigments, universal stainers (maximum 5%) or stone dust. This should be done before the addition of the hardener.

General Precautions: Setting will be affected by temperature ie., it is speeded up in hot temperatures and slowed down in cold temperatures. Do not use if temperature is above 30°C or below 5°C. Once set, Tetrion Stonefil can withstand periodic exposures to temperatures as low as -20°C or up to 100°C. Too much hardener in paste will inhibit the curing time of the filler. Never return mixed paste to the tin. Store in a cool dry place.
